October is here, the leaves are changing colors, and there’s a chill in the air. If you don’t already have plans for Halloween, don’t worry. Here in Grand Rapids, there’s a little bit of something for everyone, including families, artists, and people who just want to party.
Halloween Wildlife Drawing. The Blanford Nature Center is hosting a Halloween Wildlife Drawing party on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from 7-8 p.m. Local artist, Devin DuMond is hosting the event and teaching attendees how to draw some of the spookiest creatures Mother Nature has to offer: birds of prey. Grand Rapids Halloween Bar Crawl. Do you want to leave the kids at home and enjoy a night out on the town? If so, you won’t want to miss the Grand Rapids Halloween Bar Crawl, set to take place on October 26, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. The event features five different venues, food specials at select locations, two free drinks with the price of admission, and a hauntingly fun after party. Halloween MP Soap Making with Happy Goat. If you’re looking for somewhere fun to take the little ones, consider Halloween MP Soap Making with Happy Goat at the Coopersville Farm Museum. Admission is $5, which gives your kids the opportunity to make their own Halloween-themed bar of soap.
